On Tuesday, March 4, former West Lauderdale High School standout Leighton Jenkins’ current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Skip Bertman Field @ Alex Box Stadium against LSU Tigers.
