On Friday, Jan. 31, former Union High School standout JT Vance’s current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.

The game took place at Daikin Park. This was their first matchup against the Boll Weevils this season.

The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. at Daikin Park against Jefferson Rams.
