Of the 2,490 students attending Winston County schools, 62.6% were Black. White students were the second most common ethnicity, making up 31.2% of Winston County student body.
In the previous school year, Black students were also the most common group in Winston County, representing 63.3% of the student body.
Nanih Waiya Attendance Center had the most diverse student body in Winston County including Black, American Indian, white, and multiracial.
In the 2023-24 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county dropped 1.3% when compared to the previous year.
