Calling all artists and graphic designers!! Its Dairy Poster Contest time and the theme is "Journey To The Center Of The Dairy Farm". June is National Dairy month (quick fact: dairies are present in all 50 states! WOW) and we will be celebrating the industry with ice cream and a recipe contest. Posters will be due June 1st to the office for judging. Remember - you need to use the theme in your poster design.
Winners in each age division will be sent to MSU. Contact our office to become a member of 4-H - It's Free!! It's Fun!! And it makes you eligible for all kinds of cool stuff like trips to MSU and 4-H scholarships.
Did you know that on average, one dairy cow produces 8 gallons of milk per day which equals about 100 glasses of milk? And 73% of the available calcium in the food chain comes from milk and dairy products! Cows are A-mooo-zing!!
