On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Clarkdale High School standout Cal Culpepper’s current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lafayette Leopards.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Leopards this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against Mississippi State Bulldogs.
